I have a large document with 20-odd different chapters, each with their own TOCs separated by using bookmarks. I will (eventually) export the document as a PDF, bring it into Acrobat Pro and add many more documents in the appropriate places, thus increasing the total number of pages.

Prior to exporting the document I need many of the TOCs to start on different page numbers, say, chapter 4 to start the page numbering in the TOC on page 560 for example, Chapter 8 on page 1100 etc. Other chapters will need to start from much higher page numbering.

I was hoping I could use the TOC Switches to do this, but can't see one that will do what I want.

For the record, I have page numbering turned off in Word, it's just the TOCs that are currently numbered (I will use the page numbering in Acrobat Pro).

To restart the page numbering in the middle of a document, you must add a section break and then make changes in the Page Number Format dialog box (for each section).
