Can anyone out there please let me know if what I'm trying to do is even possible? I would really like to figure out how to automate the "- Continued" text for both TOC and Table captions using FIELD CODES. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have learned it can be done using a section break and then setting up page setup with Different First page for the TOC Header in the first page. However, my goal is to accomplish this using a FIELD CODE. I'm trying to avoid relying on using Section Breaks because this tends to cause problems when I convert the manual over to a PDF. I end up with unwanted blank pages. Therefore, I would be very grateful if anyone can help me figure this out using FIELD CODES and not section breaks. Thank

Hi
I dont think this is possible. The only way you can do this is as you have found out, that is using Section Breaks with different first and second pages. Tony |
