I am thoroughly stumped on this one. I have a user with a brand new, freshly installed computer running Win7 (Prof, 64bit) and Office Pro 2010 (32bit). The computer is connected to a Win2008 Active Directory with roaming profiles.
When the user downloads a report in .doc format on this computer, every table has a very odd bit of what appears to be scripting code of some type. Here is a sample: ![]() Here is the kicker -

You're seeing what is called a field.
In the problem computer, open Word, go to Word options, and select the Advanced tab. Scroll down to Show Document Content and see if the "Show field codes instead of their values" box is checked. Best,Ulodesk. |

You can also toggle the field code display by pressing Alt-F9
