I was using microsoft word 2011 on my mac. I was using audio notes to record the lecture while typing up notes. In the last 2 minutes of class this error popped up:
"There is an unrecoverable disk error on file <FILENAME> The disk you are working on has a media problem that prevents Word from using it. Try the following: * Try formatting another disk * Save the document to another disk. " I saw at the bottom it was attempting to save a recovery file but after 12 minutes of waiting I got furious and gave up and hit the force quit button since word was unresponsive to anything. Upon re-opening my word file all of my notes for that class were erased along with the audio file. Is there anyway I can recover this file? These notes are very important to my success in the class. Thank You |
