Ok bassicaly, I want to create help sheet for my worker for differents jobs. I was thinking about using Word but don't hesitate to suggest other programs.
First, the worker got about 100 different job and I want to create help sheet for each of them. The Sheet will be printed on both side. The back side of those sheet will have warning and special instruction that must be identical in all 100 sheet. The front side will have graphic that describe the tools and the spects of that work. I was thinking about using SmartArt for that job. All the 100 job are separated in 5 group so I was thinking about creating 5 different files. A lot of field will have to be identical in all the sheet and need to be changed often. So I need to create a field that when I change an instruction, it change in all the sheet of the group. Also, I'm wondering how I can create a file that print something specific in the back of all the sheet of a group. And of course, those instruction change often too. Thanks in advance for the help ![]() |

Hi
I would suggest using Excel from a maintenance perspective. It is easy to link key fields/cells to a main worksheet. That way when you want to change key data every cell linked to that master field is updated automatically. I have attached a sample Workbook to show this. The Master Sheet heet contains the master fields. When any of these fields are changed the other Worksheets are updated automatically. ope this helps, but if you need any further help then please come back to the forum. Good luck. Tony |

Thx for the answer.
But I'm not sure Excel will able to fill that role. The helping sheet I'm working on will have a lot of graphic, Header, Footer etc. On the other hand, I've envountered auto-filling field in Word and I think it'll do the job. I'm just not quite sure how they work. Also, is there anything that we can do to force Word to print a specific sheet in the back of all the 100 pages? (Let's say I got a document of 101 page. I would like to print the first 100 on the front of 100 sheet. And I want to print the 101th page on the page on the "back" of all 100 sheet). Oh yeah, and don't hesitate to show me complex stuff. I'm at ease with Office and VBA |

Hi
There is nothing stopping you putting graphics and headers/footers in Excel. I will have a think about your other issue about printing the same page on the back of every sheet and get back to you via the forum. Tony |

Hi
There appears to be no easy way of printing the same page on the back of each page in a multipage document. However, what I would suggest is that you pre-print your reverse side page first. The using the stack overflow tray on your printer as your source for printing the main document. This would achieve what you need. Good luck. Tony |
