Cross referencing new captions

Hi All,

I am working on a 500 page doc and have inserted a couple of new screenshots with new figures and captions. I manually updated the the remaining captions in the chapter with new sequential numbers and formatted them as caption headings.



Problem: I am unable to cross reference mention of the new Figures in paragraphs with these new captions (and the re-numbered captions) as they are not available in my 'For which numbered item' drop down list which at work does contains all other captions. I guess what Im asking is how do i populate the aforementioned drop down. Help desperately need for work tomorrow.
