Advice please. I modify the Nornal template by changes to font, paragraph etc and tick relevant 'dots' to use this revision on all new documents and save accordingly.
My choice is applied to the opeb document but none of the changes are retained. Every time I open Word, I get back to whaere I started. I have also tried creating a new template by modifying 'Normal' and saving by another name. It too disappears withen the document is closed. What am I doing wrong and how can I overcome the problem? If it's relevant, I am using Windows 7. |

Your problem is almost certainly a rogue Add-In or three. However, you may be able to do what you want by directly opening, modifying and then saving the normal.dotm template.
