Hi there & thanks for that. I'm not sure that will work for what I need in this instance.

The template will be sent out to a number of users and they will expect not to have any additional keyboard shortcuts or anything of that nature.

From what I remember from Word 2003, there was a way to include custom palettes so any user opening the document would have access to them. I know the palettes are by default stored on the users pc (or my pc in this instance as I'm building the template) but they are not saved as part of the template (by default)

I remember there was an organiser where you could select the inbuilt styles so they would be saved as part of the template. It's quite a while ago so I may be incorrect in this assumption!
