We were going to use interactive pdf forms, but encountered problems with digital signatures in Adobe, so we have to convert our forms to Word 2010.
Here's my problem: With Adobe Acrobat, you can extract data from the interactive pdf forms, and create reports. It's really fast and simple. However, I can't seem to find that functionality in Word. I can insert form fields, but I can't send the data anywhere else for reporting. When I google "export forms data Word 2010" I get Access. I need to stick with Word and Excel. Is there any way, using only Word and Excel, that I can create forms I can convert into reports? We need Word for the digital signatures, so it won't be possible to create the forms in Excel. Thanks! |
