I have two users who have recently been migrated from our old local server to the new cloud-based server.
Since the migration their autocorrect isn't working, so "teh" is not correcting to "the" etc.. I've checked all of the settings and they seem fine, but I noticed that their "replace text as you type" entries on the autocorrect settings tab are virtually empty compared to mine. What file are these stored in? I tried copying over their old building blocks files and that hasn't helped. |

These are primarily in .acl files, but formatted entries are stored in normal.dotm.
See "How can I import and export all my AutoCorrect entries, so they can be transferred to another machine?” at: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customizat...utocorrect.htm. See also AutoCorrect2007.zip The AutoCorrect backup/restore template updated for use with Word 2007 and Word 2010. |

I should have mentioned that I have already transferred over their acl and normal.dotm from their old profiles. But it's still not picking up the entries that, as far as I was aware, are default for word anyway such as "teh" and "the". M |

Try the utility, not transfering .acl files. With that utility you can install AutoCorrect entries from any computer to any other computer.
On the problem computers, what are the AutoCorrect options? Note that AC is language-specific. What proofing language is set? This is under the Reviewing tab. |
