This might be hard to explain. I'm working with a document I didn't create and the page numbers are 12-1, 12-2, 12-3, etc. I want to change the pages to 13-1, 13-2, etc.
Each individual chapter title uses a custom style named GOM-1 which does not contain numbering. The page numbers only show in the Table of Contents and the Footer. When I go into the footer and click on Page Number, Format Page Number, the 'Include chapter number' is checked and it says the Chapter starts with style: Heading 7. Heading 7: When I click on Modify Style for Heading 7, in the detail box it states the number style is 1,2,3, +Start at: 12. I have not been able to find a way to modify the Heading 7 style so it starts at 13. The option of a new start number only seems to be available in a brand new numbering style. Any help would be appreciated! I've been messing with this for 3 days now ![]() |
