I have the same problem, except that macros in Word 2010 don't work at all. I'm a professor with lots of repetitive tasks and I've been using macros through every version of Word through 2007 with no problems. I upgraded a month ago, and keyboard access does not work. Button access doesn't work, and the dropdown macro list doesn't work no matter which way I get to it.
