Default .doc Suddenly Changed to .vbe (VBScript Encoded Script File)

Hi everyone,

I am newbie here.

I would like to ask for a help.

The problem is, I have a .doc file using MS Office Word 2003 that suddenly changed to a .vbe file (VBScript Encoded Script File).

I am guessing that this was caused by a virus.

If I change the file extension back from .vbe to .doc,
then it will appears a window named with "File Conversion - MYFILE.doc",
which has many text encoding option.

Does anyone here can help me to convert back my file to .doc and use it like a normal .doc file or
remove the virus if it were true caused by virus without having to delete the original file such as
threaten by any anti-virus software?

Thank you very much

Emes
