There is nothing apparently strange about the attached documents. I did notice that some styles are based on other styles. When you copied the styles, did you also copy the relevant "parent" (based-on) styles?
Generally, copying numbered or bulleted styles is tricky in Word, and it may result in loss of formatting. Copying repeatedly (up to three times) is one workaround.
