In Vista, the ribbon icons are bigger and are above the text. In XP they're smaller and are beside the text. Word 2007 in both cases. I'm trying to see if I can make XP display like Vista for the sake of consistency, but so far haven't been able to. Does anyone know if it can be done?

Hi Walt,
Office adjusts the Ribbon to suit the display and the application's window size. Screen size & resolution, display cards & drivers also all play a part in this. So, unless you make these the same on both machines, the Ribbon display will likely differ.
