Hi!
Good to be here, I was wondering if anyone knows what exactly was used to create the form attached? Specifically, I am wondering how they were able to insert those underlines after "Property of" that when you begin to fill out, the underline begins to disappear and the text does not wrap; it seems fixed to that line. They do this also later on in the document with the "dotted underlines." I have tried to create a form myself, but am not able to replicate what they did, but I will admit that I am no expert on MS Word form creations. Thanks in advance for any help! |

The lines are tab leaders. To display the Tabs dialog box and look at the settings, you can double-click the tab indicator (the backward "L") on the horizontal ruler. For more on tabs, see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/SettingTabs.htm.
Note, however, that you may find it easier to design a form using table cells (add and remove borders appropriately). For more, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/LinesInForms.htm (you can ignore the links to articles on creating protected forms).
