Hey,
I'm using Microsoft Word X for Mac. I'm placing subdocuments into a master document but it seems to be doing random changes to lines spacing. When i load one particular subdocument into the master document it changes some, but not all, of the paragraphs from 1.5 spacing to 1 spacing - the spacing however appears as 1.5 in the subdocument if opened seperately. A few things I've checked: The master document is the same template as the subdouments. I've changed the spacing, in the paragraphs affected, from 1 to 1.5 in the master document. However, when I save it and reopen it the spacing has reverted. I've changed the spacing in the subdocument from 1.5 to 1 then back to 1.5 This, however, does not rectify the spacing problem in the master document. As such, I'm not sure what else to do. Any help with this problem would be very much appreciated. Cheers, Rich |

Try changing the default spacing in the master document.
Note that not many people use the master document feature, because it is, or has been, buggy in Word. INCLUDETEXT fields provide an alternative approach to putting documents together. See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfm...textfields.htm.
