Each time I drag a photo into a document in Word 2007 the photo is resized to 10.99" instead of the page size that is 11", which leaves this small 1 pixel gap on the bottom of the page. If I resize the photo within the document to 11" it fixes the issue, but I have about 1000 photos that I need to fit the document. Is there a page layout option I can change or use a macro to do the resize for me?

Hi,
That suggests your picture scale isn't quite the same as the page scale. The picture size is typically scaled to whatever size can be accomodated by both the page width & height (minus the margins). In any event, very few printers can print all the way to the page boundaries, so any printout is likely to have a blank area along one or more sides.
