Ultimately, you will have to modify the documents. However, that process can be automated via a Document_Open sub in Word's Normal template, or be creating a Class Module that uses the DocumentBeforePrint event in Word's Normal template. Depending on how the sub is coded, the changed setup could be saved or discarded when the document concerned is closed.
