Solid Line before and after text
I am looking on how to have a solid line in front of and behind a title in word. I want this to be centered and even amount of line before and after the text and do not want to do manually, for I have may to do like this. . Example:
------ Go For It ------ (dashes are wanted to be a solid line). Thanks in advance, Patrick |

Here is what I would do:
I would open a table with 3 cells on one row Next I would put in the line in cell 1 Cell 2 would have the title, centered Cell 3 would have the next line Now, with Cell 2, I would open up Paragraph, then adjust spacing Finally, I would go to Table Properties, then Borders, None so the Table lines won't show This tip: anytime you need to get fancy, always check out Tables in Word--in a sense, a regular document is merely one big cell Tables merely breaks up a "Cell" into more more cells, so this will enable you to do all kinds of stuff you cannot do in one cell |
