Default Character that looks like a space but isn't!

Hello all. A bit of a weird one.

I have a document which was cutting up words on lines with no hyphenation. I couldn't figure out why until now.

The document looks normal but each space isn't really a space.

You can highlight the gap between word but it isn't really a space so even though it looks like all the words are seperated, everything is one continuous word.

I can't do a Find & Replace because even though I can select the "space" it doesn't register.

Can anyone help or shed any light on this.

Thanks
