Non-breaking spaces, perhaps? Try Find/Replace with:
Find = ^s
Replace = 'space'

Hello Macropod.

I wasn't sure what a non-breaking space was but I did find it on the Special F&R options but sadly that didn't make any difference at all.

I Did Find = ^s and tried to find next - but it didn't pick up the characters
