How do you initiate IncludeText in Word for Mac 2011? There is nothing in the Word help files or in Chris Grover's "Missing Manual" for Office 2011.
What I want to do is create a target document that will include the endnotes from each of my chapters. Is "include text" the correct approach? |

IncludeText fields could certainly be used to bring together content from several files into a single "master file," if that's what you want to do. Usually, though, copying and pasting (or using Insert File) would be equally easy.

Thanks, Stefan, but the macro you passed along on converting endnotes to text notes solved my dilemma.

OK. Sorry, I didn't realize this was the same issue already discussed.

The more information I can get the better. I am constantly amazed by how little information there is on the web about Word 2011.

For what it's worth, it's the same with Windows versions of Word: documentation, especially in the form of help files, is rather poor.
However, there are other resources, such as the Word MVP site at http://word.mvps.org or the TechNet site at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/.
