Using the Select All X Instances command (as discussed in one of Microsoft's forums) would be the easiest approach. In the Style Pane Options dialog box, choose to show number and bullet formatting. In that same dialog, choose to display all style names. You can then right-click the specific formatting listed in the Styles pane (along with the list of style names) and choose to Select All X Instances. Apply List Number to the non-continuous selection.
