Hi Guys,
My first post to this forum so apologies if anyone else has asked this question before, but I couldn't find an answer after a quick search. So, one of my colleagues wants to be ale to autosave a word file on a regular basis, but keep a version of the file as it was at that timestamp. The autosave function built into Word doesn't do this as I understand it. I would suggest that creating a macro that does a SaveAs with an incremental revision number in the filename i.e. Document_v01, Document_v02, etc would be the way forward but I don't have enough knowledge to be able to do this at present. Any suggestions? Thanks, Simon |
