Default Wouldn’t it be better to compile a VBA program?

Rather than have a VBA script as a Word template, would it not be better to compile it?

I have come across a couple of links on installing VB6 on Win 10, and I am considering installing VB6.

https://www.raymond.cc/blog/install-...hine-for-java/

https://medium.com/coding-markers/in...0-7df6fda0c22f

I also came across these downloads:

a) Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise (ISO) Winworld
b) Visual Basic 6.0 Service Pack 6.0d
c) Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime Plus (Sourceforge).

Which would you recommend?

Thank you.
