If you sent him a document, was the document macro enabled and did it contain the macros? The document won't see the macros if they are in your normal template or the document template filed on your PC and you mail it to someone else.

Compatibilty mode is merely a visual indication that the document was created on an earlier version. There is little in the way of VBA code that works in 2007 that doesn't in 2010.

The document im sending Its macro enabled, also i realize that the macro was on the document i sended, but it still doesnt work, i dont know if its because of the document being protected from formating and editing.

I open the VBA on my boss PC and the code and macro was exactly as it was on my pc also the macros were enabled on his PC.
Any ideas of what could be wrong or making the document macro not able to run?

You will have to show us the code or preferably the document with some indication of what is supposed to happen when you run the macro, if you want us to investigate what is going wrong.

Are his computer trust center settings allowing the macro to run? It would not with the default settings on most Word installations. The compatibility mode should have nothing to do with it.

My recollection is that the default security settings are to suppress macros without notification if they are not in a trusted location.
