Question Show/hide text macro and security issues?

Hi all,

I'm needing to show/hide specific sections of text at a time in a word document so used the guide below.

Firstly its not very efficient as a separate macro and code block is needed for each show/hide.

Secondly is it possible to change the symbol when the text is expanded. e.g At the moment I just double click a '+' to show and hide and wondering if it could change to '-' when expanded?

If there are other ways that can achieve the same hide and show on a text selection (without showing or hiding all blocks of text at a time) without enabling macros that would be great as I understand there are security issues?

Initially it will remain on the local LAN but may need to go to a 3rd party at some point and I'm just wondering about the security implications. (Its a sensitive document and security is very important)

Thanks for any info

Ian
