I must again repeat:



1) I am not familiar with nor have I ever heard of cross-posts.

2) I do not know how these threads are related such that a so-called "cross-post" could even exist.

4) If you read back over the threads, you will surely see that I have been exceedingly restrained in my response to the likes of That, Greg, would be called an ad hominem attack. I don't indulge in those. Oh, by way of clarification, when I said I got "fatigued" from what was going on, I was being both sarcastic and dismissive. Apparently British understatement is lost on those folks.

As for my restraint, I can assure you that it is the result of extreme discipline coupled with the fact that I rarely encounter a worthy opponent - either verbal or physical. If I am deemed "haughty" for saying this, I shall readily agree. My self-confidence is both substantial and well-founded.

And thanks, Greg, for the kind invite to "The Anchorage". I made a list of the subs you served on and will see if they ring a bell with Mr. Bates. What I most respect about submariners is the highly evolved social skills they must have to spend six months a year submerged with their shipmates. You, sir, are to be commended for your service.
