Suggestion: Less concern about "etiquette"; More interest in helping.

Scorned? Hardly. Hopefully, though, you've got the message that whilst we have no objections to cross-posting, the courtesy of letting those on the affected forums/boards know that's what you've done is expected. The tenor of the rest of your response suggests otherwise.
Perhaps you should read the threads in your other cross-posts. I had indeed provided an answer on one of them.
Suggestion: Watch your attitude or you'll soon find: (a) the reputation you get will mean no-one will be interested in helping you; and (b) yourself banned from forums like this one.
