First of all macros are not named as dot files, like "Test_A.dot". Dot files contain macros. often many of them. I have a dot file with over a 100 small macos.
The default when you record a macro, for example, is that the macro (Subs) is stored in Nomal.dot. if you record another it is ALSO in Normal.dot. Macros in Normal (or any other template, which is what Normal is) - however many - can have their own button on the toolbar.
