Convert a word document in an empty one with backgrounds
I would like a script for convert a document of several pages in a new one with those pages converted in backgrounds from the original archive. Each page now have its corresponding background page where we can write on it as an image in the background. Best Regards |

Your vague description suggest what you really need is to overlay the existing pages with transparent textboxes. No code required.

Really is simply take any form to images and then to several pages in word.
To fill with personalized fields.... I have word 2010 and my old word 2002. But finally i need to do in word 2002 because I use an old version of goldmine . Best Regards Note : i have recently migrated to windows 7 64 and word 2010, but i have a virtual machine under xp with word 2002 |

How are you inserting the fields? Is this for a mailmerge?

not exactly . I only fusion one registry. not for mailing or fusion correspondence.
I insert the field with gmlink, an utility from goldmine. I have a tab and can select the field. The open registry in the goldmine appear in the word document almost instantly. |

1. Insert a textbox.
2. Choose Format|Textbox>Layout>Wrapping Style: In front of text >Colors & Lines> Color: No Fill > OK. Your transparent textbox will now be in front of the text. You can use the 'Colors & Lines' panel for removing the border also, if you wish.

Done.
The more difficult part was control the interlining, or distance between lines. A good tutorial for word xp - 2002 ? Best Regards P.D. The method is more good the one i try before : each pdf page to doc. Then each to watermark. Write overlay and make the fusion, and print to pdf, then join the pdf. Thank you very much |

I don't know of any tutorials for Word 2002 - it is very old now and was never very popular. You are more likely to find tutorials for Word 2000 or Word 2003.
