You still haven't done the table positioning...
And you didn't have to change cm to in in the main settings - you could simply have typed 0.25in - or 0.635cm

Morning,
My labels have arrived & are 139mm x 99.3mm The royal mail site has an option for you to select where to download the tracking label on the label that i am to print out,so no need for me to screenshot now & place it there myself. Ive printed a few out but what i am seeing if the label is to the left a touch. So the left hand side of the label is cut off slightly & there is wasted space on the right. Please see attached screenshot. The Blue arrow has say 2mm to the edge of the label The red arrow has say 2mm cut off Is this the correct properties box for me to make adjustments to the left & right margins so when the tracking label is placed on the label to print its then all within & nothing cut off. Thanks |

Changing the page margins won't help at this stage because the table properties have it centered on the page.
If you change the table properties so it's centered horizontally between the margins, you can then increase the left or right page margin to get the desired alignment. Don't decrease either margin below the 0.25in, though.

The table properties is set at Centered & Around.
So then on Page Layout, Margins i have the box as shown in post above. At present its printing to far on the left hand side. At present left & right is set at 0.25" To make an adjustment do i make both the same say 0.35" or if i add a value to the left do i subtract it to the right. I dont see any dotted line example to show the margin on the page so i would have to keep printing until its correct ? |

You have to set the Table properties as I said. Your reply doesn't indicate you've done that. You need to do that before changing the page margins will have any effect.

I understand but do see how to take center off vertical / horizontal.

Have a look at post #17. Change the highlighted 'Page' dropdown to 'Margin'. Simple as.

Ah ok ive done that, see attached.
So whats the approach now for moving it to the right a touch. Page layout, Margains. I need to alter the left & right value. Do both need to be the same of different ? |

Now you exit the table properties and go back to the page setup tab to increase the left or right margin to get the positioning you need. You'll presumably need to increase whichever margin needs adjusting by twice the amount you want the table to move.
