![]() Evidently, your document's Normal Style is configured with a 1.5in left indent. Editing the Normal Style will resolve that - but doing so will affect the format of all paragraphs using the Normal Style and, potentially, other Styles based on it.

Thanks for your response. I thought the Normal style had the indent but the paragraphs outside the table did not have the 3.85cm(1.5inch) indent. I ended up solving the problem by learning about table styles. I went into the table, clicked on table tools->design and the first table style on the right. After that, I right clicked and selected modify table style. The problem can be seen in the capture. When I changed the format, the tables became normal again. This was a very good learning experience on styles. Frank |
