does anyone know how to get rid of the bottom line (page1) and top line (page2) of a table in a word document that goes over 2 pages. I Just want a line at the top, and one at the bottom of the cell, independent from pages. Thanks heaps.

You could remove the borders from the table and, instead, insert an empty paragraph with a bottom border before the table and an empty paragraph with a top border after the table.
