Chris - I hope you are working with a copy, not the ONLY copy of your file.
Murphy has a nasty habit of showing up when you least want him to.

Assuming you turned on the grid lines so that you can see the individual cells just follow what macropod instructed you:

For any row you want to delete, simply click anywhere in that row. Then, using the Layout tab of the Table Tools context ribbon, use the Delete function to delete the row.
See attached screen shot.

If that isn't what you need can you post a copy of the document you are working on. It may be that we are talking apples and oranges. Be sure to delete any sensitive information.
