Ahhhh... as i said - Apples and oranges.

Your table is only filling part of the page. That "space" is the remainder of the document page. There isn't any way to "get rid of it".
The reason you don't see another row of the table there is because the current height of your rows won't allow one to fit there. So the next row goes to the second page.

The only way I know for you to utilize that portion of the page would be to adjust the height of the rows so that the table fits better on the page. Larger row height would fill the page better - Smaller row height would allow more rows on the page. That would be done by selecting the whole table and clicking the properties button for the table. (top left under the View Gridlines on the Table Tools - Layout Ribbon)
