Other options available to you include narrowing the table column widths and reducing the internal cell margins. For example, reducing the internal cell margins from the standard 0.08in to 0.02in will reduce the overall table width by 0.125in as well as allowing you to narrow each column by that amount without impacting anything else about the existing layout (e.g. line-wrapping within cells).
Without seeing the document, though, it can be difficult for anyone to give more specific advice. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.
