Default Sorting a Word table containing cross-references

I have two separate tables in a Word 2010 template. They are identical in structure as far as headings, columns, rows, etc. In one table I have Bookmarks assigned and in the other a cross reference to that Bookmark. The last column in each table row has a background color assigned based on rating. It will can only be red, yellow, or green.

Is there a way that I can sort these tables by color and still maintain the link to the bookmark? I need it to sort red at the top followed by yellow, then green

I am open to suggestions for using VBA if it calls for this.

Thanks

Mark
