Setting up resources
Hi, I'm fairly new to Microsoft Project.
I have Project Professional 2010 installed. I can see I need to set up people (work resources) on each individual project. The problem is that this doesn't give me a high level view of availability and utilisation. In my company we manage several small projects concurrently and each consultant will work several differerent projects at any one time. Is there any way to set upi the resources once only and then be able to select those resources for each project? Thanks |

Hi
Yes you can setup a Central Resource Pool and share that resource across multiple projects. Rather than explain step by step here you can search the web for information on setting up a central resource pool. There should be some help in Project (Click F1 and search for central resource pool). If you get stuck then come back to the forum for further help. Good luck. Tony(OTPM) |
