Default I need a schedule to sort by start date but sorting doesn't work correctly

Not understanding why when I try to sort this entire schedule by start dates, it doesn't work. Something to do with adding a group? Sample attached if anyone can help me.

I think you can use menu that View tab - Data - Sort - by Start date. It is well implemented in the GG sample file.

Your sorting requirements are limited by the fact that you have organized the tasks into summary task sections. If you need to sort the tasks by date, you can only do this temporarily by hiding summary tasks, and then sorting. When you display the summary tasks again, the sorting will be removed. Sorry, but hope this helps.
