Hi,
I have a set of recurring tasks that cover a five year period. Some of the tasks are legislative deadlines that are absolute final dates. Currently Project will choose the first working day following (i.e. the next Monday). How do I set Project to choose the first working day before this cut off, and not the first working day after? regards Guy |

What technique did you use to create the deadline dates for the recurring tasks? (Project uses the day following what date?)

Actually, your question may have provided the answer I need. I'll check it out.
To answer you, I didn't set a deadline, I set up a date for the task to recur on, based on a Government programme here in NZ. However, when I set that up I did not return to it and make it into a deadline. I'll try that and see what happens. kind regards Guy C |

Followup - yes, it was the deadline issue. The Default was set to "Start no earlier than" rather than "Must finish on".
Thanks for the direction to head in! gc |
