Resource1 standard calendar 8hr day

Resource2 new standard calendar 12hr day
Using split view Task Form
Allocate Resouce1 to task (work 40 hrs)

Set task fixed duration


Allocate Resource2 (work 57hrs - should be 60hrs by my maths)
Change work for Resource2 to 60hrs and get over allocation of that resource
Go to Task Usage and work allocated on a daily basis for Resource2 appears as 12.63hr, 12.63hr, 12.63hr, 12.63hr, 9.47hr
Change 12hr for each day and over allocation disappears
Whilst I would like an explanation I would rather know why project can't calculate the work for Resource2 correctly in the first place
