Sorry if I get this wrong, but as a recap, you have made a custom view, and want to have a single button to show it?
If this is the case, go to file/ gant chart and view the pull down of available views, right click on the one you want and choose "ad gallery to quick access toolbar". Then enable the tooolbar (right click on the ribbon bar, and choose "show quick access bar" and your view will be in the new toolbar. hope that answers the question
