Gangs for separate activites would be separate, so a paving op wouldnt be used drainage. reading my first post again, I think I missed out the important bit.
I get progs from other planners, who are a bit shy on resourcing. the best I am likely to get is "drainage gang", "surfacing gang" or similar. I need to replace this with a more detailed breakdown as one of our major clients requires it this way.
I could go through the programme and filter by resource name, then paste in new resources, but it would be preferable if I could use a global setting that would do this for me.

Sorry if I ama bit disjointed, too late really for me, probably look at this tomorrow and wonder what i was trying to say
