Sorry for the delay in replying- Busy got busier
 One mistake- I am using 2010, not 2013. I have a couple of machines I use and sometimes forget which one I am on! As for save location, I always save locally to a folder on desktop- anything that needs to be serverside will be copied over once I have finished. Generally, I open from OS, but it doesnt seem to make a difference- it will crash whether opening from there or through Project, and may crash whether I have 1 or more than one programmes up.
