See attached file for example of my problem.
I have a simple project which has four sub-tasks performed in series (F-to-S). If you manually add up the time required by each you get 11.5 months, yet the summmary bar rolls this up as only 230 days. Question #1: 230 days does NOT equal 11.5 months.... How is MS Project calculating the number of days from the Summary bar? Is this possibly the difference between working days (5/week) vs. Calendar months? Question #2: How do I change the units of measure for the Summary bar FROM days TO months? Thanks! |
