Why is this option not available in PowerPoint like it is in Word and Excel? It's annoying to have to close the application when I'm closing a file.

I asked that question myself here a couple of months ago. Didn't get an answer.
I don't like having thousand of windows open at once when I only have a few programs going. |

You can use (Office Tap), It will make power point - word and Excel also - like Firefox browser tabs, You can find it here:
