You were so close.
View the PPTX in "normal" view. Go the Animations tab in the ribbon Click on Animation Pane. This should open a sidebar (or bottom bar) NOW, go to the Master View. The animation should be visible in the animation pane and can be deleted. You won't see the animation unless the animation pane is open BEFORE going to the master. |

Thanks very much for your response @Eowyn. Unfortunately, I should have submitted a more complex MWE. In the new attachment, there are two slides. I want to preserve animation on the first slide and remove it on the second. When I follow your instructions it removes it on both. Is there any way to remove animation on *just* the selected slide.
