To get the table font you will have to learn how to modify the theme.xml part.
This XML defines the major and minor font to be used (not the same as the font you have set in the master) Tables usually (not always) use the minor font by default Here's a (horrible) example where the Master font is set to Aharoni but the minor font is set to Algerian (obviously just to demo!) The default table will use this by default.
